Erin Hills Golf Course - Steep Face Bunker Sand
Erin Hills Golf Course was built to challenge the best golfers. Selecting the right sand for the extreme bunkers carved into the glacial dunes also proved to be a challenge.
The bunkers needed a sand that would adhere to their steep faces, but also one that was a natural-looking color for southeastern-Wisconsin. After detailed reseach and development, Waupaca Sand & Solutions created the perfect sand for Erin Hills. Today it is known as "Steep Face Bunker Sand."
