Waupaca Sand’s Finest Stars in “Sand Masters”
Some sands are not meant to be brushed into areation holes. Some sands are destined for stardom!
Last week in the Wisconsin Dells, two ordinary piles of sand were transformed into amazing works of art by the “Sand Guys.” The Sand Guys were filming an episode of “Sand Masters” for the Travel Channel which featured them building sand sculptures of two Noah’s Ark waterslides.
Waupaca Sand & Solutions was asked by the show’s production company to provide the sand for the event. We determined that our Fine Silica Sand should be the star of the show. Because this sand contains a high percentage of fines, you wouldn’t want it in your bunkers or greens. However, for molding into sculptures, it was the perfect choice.
Set your DVR for 9:00 p.m. Sunday September 4 to see the Sand Masters at work in the Dells.
